Peter Fitzpatrick…

Peter is a licensed electrician who has worked in the overhead crane industry since 1992 and has developed a great passion for this industry as it has grown over the years.

His goal is to achieve a high standard of workmanship through working to the Australian Standards guidelines AS1418 and AS2550. Peter prides himself on providing Customers with honest advice and can assist with the provisions of options to suit his Customer’s scope and specifications, ensuring every effort is made so that your Overhead Cranes are operating, smoothly, effectively, economically and most of all safely.

Roles previously undertaken in the Overhead Crane industry have included:

  • Site Supervisor, maintaining over 150 cranes on Alcoa sites over a period of 5 years, including Wagerup, Pinjarra, Huntly and Willowdale. I gained knowledge of the mining industry as well as process plants and the understanding that overhead cranes in these types of environments have unique practice and maintenance requirements.
  • Working predominantly with the major companies Kone Cranes and Demag who’s clients have included resource sector companies Rio Tinto, BHP, Woodside, Alcoa, and medium and smaller businesses from various sectors throughout Australia in a sub contract basis, I have gained a lot of experience and product knowledge this has enabled me to build long term relationships within the industry and provided me a greater understanding of my Customer’s requirements.
