10/25 Year Assessments

Design Working Period Assessments 10/25 year.

As defined by Australian Standards, AS2550.1-2011,The need for a

Design Working Period Assessment is required, this should be carried out in conjunction with a third party inspection by a competent person.

If the design Working Period is unknown and has not been previously assessed in accordance with the above standard, a major 10 year (mechanical) or 25 year (mechanical and structural) is deemed necessary.

A/ Theoretical part:

Analysis of remaining design life of components must be conducted, taking into account past use and duty classifications.

B/ Practical part:

A detailed inspection of all critical components and safety systems to assess integrity and functionality.
